The second annual Mahoning Valley Phantoms Sticks to Clubs Alumni Golf Outing will take place on Monday, July 21, 2008 at Tippecanoe Country Club. Following the success of last year's inaugural golf outing, we anticipate the event to grow much like our hockey program has grown each year. We hope that you will participate in a day of top-quality golf with former and current Phantoms players, followed by dinner and a live and silent auction.

Live auction items include sports tickets such as the Cleveland Browns, Cavaliers, Indians, Ohio State football tickets and more! The silent auction will consist of gift baskets donated by local businesses. The Phantoms are asking for your help by donating a gift basket or sports item to help raise money for our youth hockey organization.

Your support helps fulfill the mission of Phantoms Junior A hockey - to showcase the athletic and academic talents of these young men for the purpose of obtaining college hockey scholarships. Since 2003, over 50 former Phantoms have received Division I college hockey scholarships to schools like Notre Dame, Michigan, Ohio State, Penn State, Miami of Ohio, Bowling Green, West Point and Providence

Your support also contributes to the Phantom Fireworks Youth Hockey program, which has quickly become an excellent feeder program for the Junior A Phantoms. This season, our Phantom Midget AAA team has been crowned Mid-American District Champions, and several Midget players have already been tendered to play for the 2008-2009 Junior A Phantoms.
